Smith & Boucher Celebrates Summer at Deanna Rose Farmstead

It’s been over 100 degrees in Kansas City for most of our summer, but that didn’t stop Smith & Boucher employees from having some outdoor fun at the Deanna Rose Family Farmstead in July!  Families came out to the Farmstead to enjoy a picnic dinner of hot dogs and hamburgers, and also had a blast with all the animals and attractions at this great local park.

Kids young and old enjoyed feeding the goats, fishing in the pond and playing on the several playgrounds within the facility.  Lucky for everyone, the thoughtful staff at the Farmstead had procured a misting fan from the local soccer complex, so under the cover of the picnic area it was cool and comfortable.  Kids also received personal misting fans that they took home as a gift.
